Welcome to Cablefield Services where we resurrect reels of fiberoptic cable that may have otherwise be written off and discarded. We got our start back during the covid days when lead times were long and telecoms and distributors were stocking up for the long term. Problems quickly rose around 2023 when fiber lead times and prices dropped, and many distributors and end user got stuck with more fiber than they could use and when they went to use it the reel because of sitting in the weather.
Our first project was for a premium manufacturer who had over 300 reels that were damaged. We looked all over the United States for a contractor, manufacturer or service company that could repair and respool the fiber to factory delivery specifications, we could not find one company qualified and realized we had a problem and an opportunity.
Since then, we have respooled and repaired over 1000 reels of fiber and counting. We also provide services to companies respooling larger reels to smaller reels, 20,000' to two 10,000'or four 5,000' reels or whatever the customer needs.
